There are tons of clothing places in Chapel Hill and Carrboro...

I have connections at Apple Boutique and Glee Kids so I can go there.
Tomorrow Kayla and I are going to go around to fair trade stores and find some more information about how clothing is fair trade. I have been trying to call The Painted Bird owner but I am not having any luck. I am calling tomorrow for the last time tomorrow.
So the list of Fair trade clothing stores that we have are: The Painted Bird, Twig, 10,000 villages and Lark. We are going to try and get some information from these stores.
Today Michelle and I discussed our game plan for this coming Thursday and Tuesday.
On Thursday we are planning to visit Twig and Lark, 2 clothing stores that are all fair trade, and ask the owners how they found places to deal with, where they get their clothes, etc. We are hoping to be able to report back to the group on Monday during class with good news because Michelle had no luck with the Painted Bird Lady.
On the following Tuesday if we feel we did not get as much information as we would like, Michelle and I are also going to visit 10,000 Villages to ask the owners about their very small supply of clothing that is free trade; it is mostly scarves, hats, and purses though.
Just wanted to say that I called both Lark and Twig and the owners would love to meet with us tomorrow! We will let you know how it goes! Note: Painted Bird lady was not nice and said that she didn't have time to talk to us. Just in case anyone is wondering why we haven't contacted her.
